چکیده

Abstract Nowadays, building energy models (BEMs) are widely used, particularly in the assessment of consumption buildings to address potential savings that can be generated. The realisation a dynamic model based on high-fidelity physics (white-box models) requires tuning process fit reality, due many uncertainties involved. Currently some research trends try reduce this performance gap by modulating different types experimental parameters such as: capacitances or infiltration. EnergyPlus simulation software, its latest versions, has implemented an object: HybridModel:Zone calculates infiltration and internal mass using inverse modelling approach employs only measured indoor temperature data invert heat balance equation for zone under study. main objective paper is execution time development quality generating new calibration methodology implements approach. A pattern-based automated approach to building energy model calibration

Building model calibration is critical in bringing simulated energy use closer to the actual consumption. This paper presents a novel, automated model calibration approach that uses logic linking parameter tuning with bias pattern recognition to overcome some of the disadvantages associated with traditional calibration processes. The pattern-based process contains four key steps: (1) running th...

An Approach to the Calibration of Building Energy Simulation Models

As part of the model validation and development activities of a European research initiative in the area of passive solar architecture, a validation/calibration methodology has been developed which emphasises the use of empirical data in the model proving process and, if necessary, model calibration before use. This procedure has been applied to the ESP-r system in order that it might be used t...

A Robust Ranking Methodology Based on Diverse Calibration of AdaBoost

In subset ranking, the goal is to learn a ranking function that approximates a gold standard partial ordering of a set of objects (in our case, relevance labels of a set of documents retrieved for the same query). In this paper we introduce a learning to rank approach to subset ranking based on multi-class classification. Our technique can be summarized in three major steps. First, a multi-clas...

A Shape Inverse Approach Modelling Electro-Wetting

1. Abstract We model an electrified droplet spreading a solid surface. The model consists to seek a drop shape minimizing its total energy (capillary, electrostatic and gravitational). We derive the equations and the shape gradient; we detail the shape optimization algorithm and present some numerical results. Our numerical results fit the predictions of Lippman’s equation (plane capacitor appr...
